§ 1

Introduction

This Cookie Policy explains how OKASHI Group sp. z o.o. uses cookies and similar technologies (localStorage, sessionStorage) on https://www.okashigroup.com. Read it together with our Privacy Policy.

Non-essential cookies and similar technologies are used only after you give consent via our banner or Cookie Settings, except where strict necessity applies under the ePrivacy rules as implemented in Poland and the EU.

§ 2

What are cookies and similar technologies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Similar technologies include localStorage and sessionStorage keys. They may be first-party (set by OKASHI) or third-party (set by partners — we do not currently load marketing pixels unless you enable that category and we activate a vendor).

§ 3

Categories

  • Essential / strictly necessary: required to provide the Site you request — sign-in, security, language, theme, and remembering this consent. These do not require a banner opt-in under ePrivacy, but they are still processed under GDPR with an appropriate basis (contract or legitimate interests). You cannot switch them off in our banner without breaking login and core features.
  • Analytics & performance (optional): first-party visit measurement for our internal dashboard (pages viewed, approximate city, device type). Loaded only if you enable Analytics. This is not advertising.
  • Marketing (optional): reserved for campaign or social pixels if we add them later. Nothing in this category fires today unless we enable a vendor and you have opted in. Enabling the category only authorises future use consistent with this Policy until you withdraw consent.

§ 4

Technologies we itemise

  • okashi:cookie-consent (localStorage) and okashi_consent_analytics (cookie): store your consent version, timestamp, and category choices. Essential for compliance.
  • Supabase auth cookies: keep you signed in when you create or use an account. Essential. Duration follows “keep me signed in” (session or up to about 400 days).
  • okashi_locale (cookie): remembers English or Polish. Essential/functional for the language you requested.
  • okashi-site-theme (localStorage): remembers light or dark appearance. Essential/functional for the display you requested.
  • okashi_vid (localStorage) and okashi_ref (sessionStorage): random visit id and first referrer, used only with Analytics consent. Cleared if you reject analytics.
  • Admin/staff tools: separate preference keys (theme, column widths, and similar) on /admin and /staff. Those areas are not the public catalog; they are for people who already work with us.

§ 6

Browser controls

You can also clear or block cookies and site storage in your browser. Blocking essential storage will prevent sign-in and some features from working.

§ 7

Retention

Consent records remain in your browser until cleared or updated (we keep the choice for up to 180 days, then we may ask again). Session technologies expire when the browser session ends or when auth tokens expire. Analytics session records on our side follow the Privacy Policy.
