§ 1

Who we are and acceptance

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of https://www.okashigroup.com and related pages, accounts, and catalog features (the “Site”). The Site is operated by OKASHI Group sp. z o.o., a spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością (Polish limited liability company), at ul. Świętokrzyska 37C, 50-327 Wrocław, Poland (“OKASHI”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

If you are a consumer habitually resident in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence apply and prevail over conflicting Terms to the extent required by law.

§ 2

What this website is — and is not

okashigroup.com is an atmosphere website and an online catalog. It lets you browse products we typically carry, read about the store, save favourites, and plan a visit. It is not an online shop, marketplace, or distance-selling channel.

  • You cannot place an order, reserve stock, or pay through the Site.
  • Prices shown are reference prices in Polish zloty (PLN) and may include VAT as displayed. The price at the till in the Wrocław store prevails.
  • Not every product in the catalog is in stock. Assortment changes often. Treat the catalog as inspiration, not a live inventory.
  • Photos, descriptions, ingredients, and nutrition data are provided for orientation. Always check the physical packaging in store, especially for allergens.

Purchases are possible only in person at our supermarket in Wrocław. A contract of sale is formed at the till in the store, under Polish law, not by using this website.

§ 3

No online payments

The Site does not accept cards, wallets, transfers, or any other remote payment. We do not take deposits or pre-orders online. Payment methods available at the physical till (for example cash or card) are those displayed or offered in store on the day of your visit.

Because no distance contract is concluded on the Site, the 14-day cooling-off right that applies to many online purchases does not apply to browsing this catalog. In-store purchases follow the rules in § 6.

§ 4

No delivery or click & collect

We do not ship products, offer courier delivery, or operate an online click & collect service. Please visit the store at ul. Świętokrzyska 37C, 50-327 Wrocław, Poland during opening hours (generally Monday–Saturday 12:00–20:00, closed Sundays and public holidays — always check the Site or contact us for the current timetable).

§ 5

Visiting the store

Detailed shop-floor house rules (queueing, bags, photography, and similar day-to-day points) are posted or explained in the store when needed. They are not required on this website. The following is the information that matters for visitors and for EU/Polish consumer transparency:

  • Address: ul. Świętokrzyska 37C, 50-327 Wrocław, Poland.
  • Please follow staff instructions, treat products and other visitors with care, and do not consume unpaid goods.
  • We may refuse service in case of theft, aggression, health or safety risk, or obvious intoxication.
  • Products marked 18+ may be sold only to adults. Staff may ask for proof of age.
  • We do not sell alcoholic beverages. For soju, sake, and similar drinks, please use a licensed retailer.
  • Allergen and ingredient information for food is on packaging and can be confirmed with staff. If you have an allergy, always read the label in store — catalog text may be incomplete or lag behind a supplier change.
  • We do not sell expired products. Best-before dates on promotional or short-dated items are still within legal and HACCP practice; ask staff if you are unsure.

§ 6

In-store purchases, complaints, and returns

When you buy in the Wrocław store, you are a party to a consumer sales contract under Polish law (in particular the Civil Code). Consumers are entitled to remedies if goods lack conformity with the contract (statutory warranty / rękojmia), typically for two years from delivery, unless a shorter period is allowed for food or other goods with a marked durability date.

The EU 14-day right of withdrawal applies to distance and off-premises contracts. It does not apply to ordinary in-store purchases. Food, fresh, frozen, and unsealed goods may also be excluded from returns where hygiene or perishability so requires, as permitted by law.

  • Complaints (reklamacje): use the complaints form (photograph your receipt), bring the product to the store, or write to support@okashigroup.com. We aim to acknowledge website complaints within 24–72 hours on days the store is open, and we will respond to a formal complaint within 14 days.
  • Returns of non-faulty goods are a goodwill matter for in-store sales, not a statutory cooling-off right. Ask staff; unopened, unused grocery items in original packaging are more likely to be considered.
  • Promotional or short-dated items remain subject to food-safety rules. We do not sell goods past their expiry.

EU consumers may also use the European Commission ODR platform. We prefer to resolve issues directly first.

§ 7

Accounts, eligibility, and acceptable use

An account is optional. It lets you save catalogue favourites and keep a simple profile. You must be at least 16 (the Polish digital-consent age) to create an account. If you are under 18, use the Site only with a parent or guardian where required.

  • Provide accurate details and keep your password safe. You are responsible for activity under your login.
  • Do not misuse the Site: no scraping beyond normal browsing, no attempts to bypass security, no uploading of unlawful or infringing content, and no harassment of staff via our contact channels.
  • You may delete your account from account settings or by emailing support@okashigroup.com. Favourites and profile data we control are then deleted or anonymised as described in the Privacy Policy.

§ 8

Intellectual property and catalog content

The Site’s design, text, photographs, logos, and software are owned by OKASHI or our licensors. Product names, brands, and packaging images belong to their respective owners and are shown so you can recognise goods in store. You may browse and share links for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy the catalog wholesale, scrape it for a competing database, or use our branding without permission.

Catalog data (prices, stock impression, ingredients, nutrition, origin) is provided “as is” for convenience. We work to keep it useful, but suppliers, recipes, and shelf prices change. The physical product and till receipt are authoritative.

§ 9

Disclaimers and liability

The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant uninterrupted access or that every catalog entry is complete, in stock, or identically priced in store.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud, or other consumer rights that cannot be waived.

Subject to that, we are not liable for lost time, wasted travel, or other indirect loss arising only from relying on catalog information that later differs in store, to the maximum extent permitted by law. For EEA consumers, our liability for foreseeable loss caused by our breach is not excluded beyond what mandatory law allows.

§ 10

Changes

We may update these Terms when the Site, the store, or the law changes. The “Last updated” date on this page will change. For material changes we will provide additional notice where required (for example by email to account holders). Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms, except where mandatory law requires explicit consent.

§ 11

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.

Courts in Wrocław, Poland, have jurisdiction, without prejudice to a consumer’s right to bring proceedings in their Member State of residence. Contact us first at support@okashigroup.com so we can try to resolve the issue. The European Commission ODR platform is available for EU consumers.
